And for the first time in my life I know it's for real

My Story began in January when spring break started, it was cloudy and rainy most of the days. I shut the world by simply putting my headphones on. In a rainy day I played "Catch me" by Demi Lovato, for a moment I forget about the world and all the problems I had to deal with and I just focused on the person I love I was thinking to myself maybe its time, maybe it time to let out my feelings to the person I love and confess instead of always hiding and thinking, I stared out the window holding my iPhone watching the rain drops stream down the window glass, wondring what if . . .

suddenly my phone vibrated in my hand I flew back to reality and unlocked my phone.

Noor :"jojo I'm coming over"
Me :"why is something wrong?"
Noor :"no dude I'm just bored and its winter break and I have nothing to do"
Me :"sure comeover I'm practically doing nothing"
Noor :"okai thanx"

Noor is my cousin she's an 19 years old a college student with dark brown short hair, tall, has big bright honey colored eyes with a really sensitive personalty. she's my best friend in the whole wide world the best thing about noor is no matter what where or who she'll cancel all her plans and be there for you.

I'm Lujain a 18 year old girl who recently graduated from high school but didn't apply to any college I wanted a year break to relax from all the pressure and just focus for me, I'm a 162 cm tall I have a tall black wavy hair, tall neck thats what everyone tells me and thick eyelashes with big deep dark brown eyes I'm sensitive like noor but less I'm kinda social I like to blend in but stand out at the same time.

I was in my room when I heard shouting I recognized the voices they were my 2 brothers salim and wahab. salim is 7 years old and wahab is 9 years old they were fighting about a game I went outside my room.

Me :"MOM they're fighting again!!!!"

Mom shouted for them to stop it was typical they argue I tell mom and mom just tells them to stop and they don't. I got sick of it. I locked the door and put my headphones on again and highred the volume I heard a knocking at my door.

Me :"GO AWAY go find someone else to bug"

"Ehmmmmmm"

it sounded like a girl.

I hurried and opened the door it was noor.

Me :"haha sorry I thought u were my brothers"

Noor :"haha its okai"

we hugged eachother for a while then I invited her to sit in my room.

Noor :"so tell me what's wrong?"

Me :"what?"

Noor :"yea u heard me now spill?"

I smiled looking at the ground biting my lower lip.

Noor :"oh no ... please tell me its not about him again?"

Me :"its not him?"

Noor :"now mean it!"

I laughed

Me :"who am I kidding I LOVE HIM"

Noor :"jojo u need to think about ur future now not him and u didnt apply to any college aren't u thinking about the future ur precious time wasted ?"

Me :"no I got all the time in the world to be worrying about college most important thing is yousif<3"

I gazed out the window with my "in love" stare and talked about him.

Noor :"lujaain WAKE UP! he's ur cousin OUR cousin"

Me :"so ?"

Noor :"ahh my there's no use talking with you-.-"

I giggled then walked by my the window and stood there staring at the rain as it falls on the ground.

Me :"I don't know noor I just can't seem to forget about him, maybe he's the one"

Noor :"what makes you so sure?"

Me :"I said maybe who knows ... I just wanna tell him how I feel I wanna know if he feels the same way"

Noor sighed and came closer to where I was standing, I turned around and looked at her.

Noor :"okay ... On thursday on the day of the gathering there's a probability that he might come I'll get you 2 alone then you'll know if he feels the same way"

Me :"oh damn I'm nervous are you for real?? Okai I'm gettin butterflies"

Noor :"lool don't mess it up even though EWO but I love u and I wanna see you happy<3"

I got excited and nervous at the same time meeting him again is wow the last time I saw him was 2 weeks ago and I miss him like crazy I know most of people would think ewo her cousin but I fell for him I don't know why. And In my country its okai to date or marry your cousin.


after few days . . .


I woke up I saw my phone's calendar it was finally thursday I felt like I wanted to throw up and excited my stomach was growling I felt dizzy.

I wore my light baby pink top and light sky jeans and added a fluffy white jacket since it's winter, when I was ready I called noor she took me to Starbucks first before going to the family gathering.

when we sat in Starbucks noor noticed how nervous I was.

Noor's POV (Point Of View) :

I could see her legs moving twice as she normally moves and her hands shivring her face looks green like she's almost about to throw up.

Me :"duuude Jojo calm down we're not even there yet"

Lujain :"I knoooooow noor I just donno whats up with me"

Me :"god help u xD"

Lujain :"shutup -.-"

when we were done we took our drinks and went to the gathering.

Lujain's POV :

Noor was driving me to the gathering I was staring out the window holding myself together trying not to think about talking to him at all so I won't feel extra nervous when we arrived, she held my hand as we were both walking towards the door.

Noor :"wooooow I could hear ur hearts beats from way over here"

Me :"shutup .."

she laughed.

when we first walked in I looked around while holding my stomach cause I was nervous there was no sign of him I felt down and looked at the ground.

Noor :"haaay don't give me that face he'll show up even if I had to drag him all the way from his home xD"

I giggled

Me :"yea ... its okai"

we went in and sat and said hi to everyone then for a while I waited staring at the door hoping for him to show up when suddenly the door opened . . .

Noor :"oh my gosh .. jojo"

Me :"omg its him"

I sqeezed noor's hand while she was beside me.

Noor :"ouch ouch haay dont break it"

I smiled feeling so happy.

Yousif :"elsalam alaikom"

Everyone :"waalaikom elsalam"

He walked in and sat to the couch next to us.

My aunt :"hey yousif how are you? How's college goin for you?"

Yousif :"it's great ...."

They talked while I stared at "Yousif".


Yousif is my 19 year old cousin I had a crush on him in a long time but I was too afraid to admit it I fell for him more these past months the way he talked and how he looked like, everything about him changed when he entered college, He has a Dark Straight Brown hair and a Gorgeous smile he's tall with a Dimple on his chin it's the best thing about his appearance.

its like taylor's chin.

Yousif Then looked at me.

Yousif :"hey Lujain how are you ?"

Me :"i'm good" I giggled lookin at the ground.

He smiled.

After a while noor talked to yousif in private then noor came to me.

Me :"hey what happebed?"

Noor :"he agreed go to the park near the house he said he'll meet you there"

Me :"you serious a park?"

Noor :"don't ask me he's the one who suggested it xD"

Me :"great I'll chock what will I say? what will I do ahhhh no i don't wanna go I changed my mind"

I felt a slap on my left cheek, the blood built up in that area making it sore.

Me :"WHAT THE HELL OUUUUCH why??????"

Noor :"shutup get urself back together lujain just CALM DOWN"

I giggled

Me :"okai okai I'm good I'm great yea .... but what if I mess it up ?"

Noor :"OUFFF jojo shutup and just gooo"

I laughed

Me :"okaaaaaay wish me luck"

Noor :"good luck" she laughed.

I took my bag and left in the back door to the park near the house when I arrived I went in and walked looking around searching for him I saw a guy's back sitting in a chair I went closer it was yousif.

Me :"hey"

yousif turned around.

yousif :"hey come come sit please"

I came closer and sat next to him I was shy and nervous and my heart kept beating faster by the minute.

yousif :"so noor said you have something to say to me? .."

I stared at his eyes they were so hypnotizing it was like I was under a spell they were sparkly and shiny then I saw him making a half smile in slow motion he was talking but I wasn't paying any attention to what he was saying.

yousif :"lujain?"

Me :"haa what?"

he smiled

yousif :"yea what were you gonna say?"

my heart beat raced.

Me :"ummm well ...."

I stared at him no words came out of my mouth I wanted to say something bss mako.

yousif :"yea?"

Me :"I love you"

yousif looked surprised.









{OMG OMG OMG WHAT DID I JUST TELL HIM}

yousif :"oh .... ummm"

Me :"NO NO wait I meant I really like you  .... ahh I'm so stupid I should go"

I stood up and I wanted to run away but I felt him grabbing my hand and pulling me back closer.

yousif :"noooo stay"

I looked at him then sat next to him looking at the ground feeling stupid cause I didn't know how to replay him.

yousif :"I really like you too .."

I suddenly lifted my head up and looked at him.

Me :"really?"

yousif :"yea"

I smiled then he smiled back we talked more and got to know things about eachother more. after that we added eachother's phone number so we'd chat more ... the days passed we instantly became boyfriend and girlfriend it was fast but I loved it, it was my first actual relationship. problem is we're cousin's and everyone thinks its eww and stuff but its what we like and prefer.

when everything seemed to fall in place, something happened a week after us being together ....
